Waterford Glass Chandelier in the Oak Room
Recently the ground floor reception rooms and the Lord Mayor’s apartment at the Mansion House have been re-lamped with LED bulbs – one of a number of energy saving measures completed at the house over the past 12 months, initiated by City Architects and supported by SEAI
It’s nice to see Palace Street public realm works recently completed – a good example of how a relatively small project can greatly change the quality of experience. (more…)
Earlier this summer, City Architects participated in the ‘Ideas Lab’, part of the Science Gallery’s interactive ‘Hack the City’ exhibition running until 8th September as part of Dublin’s designation as European City of Science 2012. (more…)

City Architects and the City Archaoelogist’s office will be giving two walking tours around the historic Aungier Estate (centred on Aungier Street) on Wednesday August 22nd, as part of Heritage Week 2012.

McKee Court, designed by City Architects, is a development of homes for senior citizens close to McKee Barracks and Phoenix Park. The scheme, which has been shortlisted for a Chambers Ireland Award for Excellence in Local Government, consists of 38 apartments (36 x 1-bed and 2 x 2-beds) and a small community facility on a steeply sloping triangular site off Blackhorse Avenue in Dublin 7.
Smithfield Quarter Enhancement Scheme is a City Architects Division led project by Dublin City Council and jointly funded by Dublin City Council and the E.U.
